- Commit yourself to God in everything. Psalm 37:5
- Submit yourself to God. James 4:7-8
- Yield every area of your life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Matt.7:21-23, Luke 9:23-26, Take up your cross daily; Galations 5:16-21 & 24, Romans 8:5-17 Crucify the flesh.
- Be continually filled with the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 5:15-21, Romans 8:13
- Renew your mind through God’s Word. Walk as God’s child should! 2Corinthians 10:3-5, Eph. 4:22-24, Romans 12:1-2, James 1:22-25 God’s Word is a mirror to the soul. Psalm 119:105, The Word is a light for guidance. Hebrews 4:12 The Word of God is a sharp sword to cut. 1Peter2:2, Matthew 4:4 The Word is food to the spirit. You must have the Word of God in you! Psalm 1-1-3
- Pray daily. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
- Praise continually. Psalm 34:1-22
- Maintain fellowship. Sheep that get separated from the flock get eaten! 1Peter 5:5-9
- Use your weapons of warfare:
- The Word – Ephesians 6:17 The Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God.
- The Blood of Jesus Revelation12:11
- The Name of Jesus Mark 16:17
- The word of your testimony. Revelation 12:11
- Prayer, Praise, Positive Confession. Matt. 18:18-20, Psalm 149:508, Revelation 12:11
- Keep your house swept clean! Matthew 12:43-45
- Keep the doors closed to sin!
